We are living and working through unprecedented times. The Covid-19 situation is developing apace. Whilst extremely challenging, we are endeavouring to take a cautious and pragmatic approach to how we best manage the short and long term welfare of our staff, customers, and overall business. At every stage we will continue to follow the latest advice from the UK Government and Public Health England. We very much appreciate the support of all of our staff in helping us to shape our thinking and to generate practical actions to ensure we can continue to help support the effort of feeding the nation.  We have seen a significant change in demand for certain products and we are adjusting our production planning accordingly.  We will continue to adapt with balanced and appropriate measures as circumstances evolve.



We are very pleased to be able to welcome back visitors to our Tiptree Tea Rooms. COVID is still prevalent in the country and with that in mind we will continue with many of the protocols and additional spacing that we have introduced during the pandemic.  We would encourage all our visitors to continue to take extra care, wear a mask unless seated, and stay safe. Please bear with us as we get back into the swing of things. If there are any questions then please don’t hesitate to ask a member of our Tea Room team, who will do their very best to help you.

Please note: Due to track and trace isolation notices we are currently very short staffed across the tea room group. Where possible we will remain open but may have to reduce our menu offering or at short notice, may be forced to close.

Please call ahead of your visit to ensure that the tea room you are travelling to is open.


In order to try and help our customers as much as we can during these difficult times, all orders over £19.98 placed on to a UK address will now qualify for free delivery until further notice.

Home delivery orders may take up to 5-7 business days to arrive, not including weekends. During these unprecedented times we are also experiencing an equally unprecedented level of orders. We hope to return to our usual shorter lead time as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.

International Deliveries - Due to the current delays and issues we are experiencing with international parcel deliveries, and to avoid potential disappointment, we recently had to cease all overseas home deliveries. However, we are now pleased to confirm that from Friday 23rd April 2021 we can resume a home delivery service to Canada and Australia in addition to our normal uninterrupted service within the UK.

If you would like to order for Home Delivery in the USA, many of our products are available on or Amazon. Thank you for your co-operation.



Our bakery teams at Tiptree Patisserie are offering, whilst practicable, a home delivery service in the Essex area.
