Public Farm Tours
Farm Tours at the Tiptree Visitor Centre
Our Farm Tours run from May to August
Join us on a guided tractor tour around the Tiptree Fruit Farms where we have been farming since 1757 and making quality preserves since 1885.
Embark on a 45 minute journey through our strawberry fields with your tour guide. During the tour you will see traditional methods combined with cutting edge new technologies in fruit farming.
Learn about the Wilkin family history, our wide variety of home grown fruits and even where the phrase being ‘caught red handed’ came from.
After your tour, why not indulge in a traditional Afternoon Tea in the tea room and browse around our Jam Shop for all your Tiptree favourites as well as a quality range of giftware.
Please note: Our tractor farm tours will operate in all weather conditions, so please dress appropriately. Access onto the trailer is via steps and there is no ramp access.
