Made with Essex damsons, we believe this new addition is the only low sugar plum jam on the market. Damsons are one of the varieties of fruit we are well known for.
Our recent branding as 'reduced sugar' has given us the opportunity to change the sweetening agent from fructose to cane sugar (from 1/3/2016), which gives a slightly less sweet taste allowing a fuller fruit flavour to come through. We are keeping all other ingredients the same and continue to produce all of our products to the highest quality.
With much less sugar than traditionally made preserves, they are enjoyed by those who like a less sweet jam as well as those who need them for dietary or health reasons.
