Method

  1. Cook the Black forest berries with brown sugar and allow to cool.
  2. Spread jam on Swiss roll slices then place in the glass.
  3. Spoon Black forest berries onto the cake – chill for ½ hour (if you have time).
  4. Whisk cream until firm but not too stiff.
  5. Pour custard onto fruit.
  6. Decorate with raspberries and top with a mound of cream, add toasted almonds.
