Pear, Stilton, Walnut and Crab Apple Salad

Ingredients and Method



  1. Roughly crumble cheese.
  2. Retain 4 nuts for decoration – roughly chop remaining nuts.
  3. Peel pears, split them lengthwise, remove core.
  4. Place a few green leaves on each serving plate
  5. Put pear on plate cut side down and cut into fan from just below top to base of pear.
  6. Sprinkle pear with cheese and chopped walnuts.
  7. Spoon Tiptree Crab Apple Jelly around pear.
  8. Drizzle a little oil mixed with Tiptree Mustard and Honey Sauce on leaves.
  9. Serve with crusty rye bread.
