It was a pleasure to meet up with Jayne, Terri and Ruth from the Tiptree Community Hub and to hand them a cheque for £7015 raised from our Little Scarlet Festival.
The Little Scarlet Festival took place on the Tiptree Farm at the end of August. All tickets sold and stall pitch fees from the day were donated to the charity.
Thank you to all who came along to the festival and to those who donated to charity on the day. Terri from the Community Hub said 'We are proud to be recognised as a community partner and grateful for the support they offer us. On behalf of our volunteers and service users at Tiptree Community Hub, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. The money will help us to keep delivering the service we provide to the local community.'
The Community hub's purpose is to prevent food waste and provide the community with surplus food.
