Absolutely delicious and top quality marmalade

Absolutely delicious marmalade and so lovely not to have to pick out all the orange peel which I don't like. Other no-peel marmalades tend to be too sweet and sickly but Tiptree has a true fruit flavour.

I absolutely adore this marmalade!

I absolutely adore this marmalade. I heven bought enough to take it on a trip around the Caribbean! It has the slight bitterness of marmalade with peel but without the peel, which in all other brands is way too sweet.

About Us

Our History

The ‘Tiptree’ story begins around the early 1700s with Trewlands, the farm that was later to become the main site for jam-making in the Essex village of Tiptree. Today, there are some 11,000 inhabitants in what may well be the largest village in the country.

FRUIT

Today, we have a plentiful supply of a huge range of fruits, sometimes in many different varieties too. Yet it wasn’t always that way and thousands of years ago, the very first preserves were created in order to store that goodness for year-round use.

Farming

Our farm is LEAF Marque accredited (Linking Environment And Farming), recognising that we work sympathetically with our environment and encourage links with our local community. Fruit crops include strawberries, raspberries, mulberries, Morello cherries, rhubarb, damson, Victoria plum, greengage, quince, and the curious medlar.
