'Witches' Brew' Brown Sauce Bloody Mary

Give the classic Bloody Mary a hauntingly elegant twist this Halloween. Tiptree’s smoky Brown Sauce adds depth and spice, while Tiptree small-batch English Vodka keeps things beautifully smooth. Finished with mozzarella and black olive “eyeballs,” this sophisticated potion is the perfect blend of eerie and indulgent.

Ingredients

- 1 tbsp Tiptree Brown Sauce
- Freeze-dried carrot pieces or celery seeds

- 1 large cup of ice cubes
- 500ml tomato juice
- 100ml Tiptree English Vodka
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp Tiptree Brown Sauce
- A few drops of Hot Pepper sauce
- Pinch of celery salt
- Pinch of black pepper
- 2 celery sticks

- 2 x cocktail sticks
- 4 x mini mozzarella pearls
- 2 x stoned black olives
- 1 small strip of red pepper
Directions

- Take 2 tall highball glasses and using a small paintbrush, paint a small amount of brown sauce around the outside edge of each glass.
- Sprinkle some freeze-dried carrot pieces or celery seeds on top. Set aside whilst you make the cocktails.

- Carve a round piece out of the centre of each mozzarella ball.
- Slice off the ends of both olives to make 4 rounded pieces with holes in the middle
- Press an olive segment into each mozzarella ball cut side up then take a small piece of red pepper and poke this into the centre of each olive.
- Thread 2 eyeballs onto each cocktail stick.

- Measure the tomato juice, vodka and lemon juice into a large glass jug. Add the ice cubes.
- Add the Brown Sauce, Hot Pepper sauce (to taste), celery salt and pepper and stir until the jug feels cold.
- Add a couple of ice cubes to each of the highball glasses. Strain the cocktail between the two glasses and place a celery stick in each glass.
- Add a straw and swizzle stick.
- Garnish with the mozzarella and black olive “eyeballs” and enjoy your Witches’ Brew!
