A favourite at Christmas time or at any time! Cranberry Jelly is an ideal partner for Camembert cheese.

The Wilkin family have been farming at Tiptree, Essex, since 1757, and making quality preserves there since 1885.

We grow a wide range of traditional English fruits and use them to make conserves and condiments in our nut-free factory by the farm.

Our products are made to cherished recipes and are free from artificial colours and flavours. We inspect and prepare our fruit by hand then cook in small batches using traditional, copper-bottomed pans.

We received our first Royal Warrant from George V in 1911, and remain Royal Warrant holders as purveyors of Tiptree Products to Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.

Fantastic. Have this ever Christmas… for as long as I can remember (30 years+). Usually purchase from a quality supermarket, but this year they’ve stopped stocking it (along with their gorgeous apricot sausage meat stuffing). As it is a family favourite (eaten with chicken too) I bought three jars of cranberry jelly. That should get us through until Easter at least! Another direct order will certainly follow.

Our History

The ‘Tiptree’ story begins around the early 1700s with Trewlands, the farm that was later to become the main site for jam-making in the Essex village of Tiptree. Today, there are some 11,000 inhabitants in what may well be the largest village in the country.

Our farm is LEAF Marque accredited (Linking Environment And Farming), recognising that we work sympathetically with our environment and encourage links with our local community. Fruit crops include strawberries, raspberries, mulberries, Morello cherries, rhubarb, damson, Victoria plum, greengage, quince, and the curious medlar.
