Raspberries are amongst the most traditional of crops farmed on the Wilkin Estates at Tiptree, Essex, where we have been growing fruit since the 1800s.

Each raspberry is carefully hand-picked, then rested in locally distilled Hayman's gin. The result is this delicious gin liqueur, bursting with the fresh fruitiness of proper English raspberries.

Enjoy sipped straight over ice, add your favourite mixer for a rather fruity Gin Spritzer, or add a dash to Prosecco for a Raspberry Gin Royale.

Our History

Our History

The ‘Tiptree’ story begins around the early 1700s with Trewlands, the farm that was later to become the main site for jam-making in the Essex village of Tiptree. Today, there are some 11,000 inhabitants in what may well be the largest village in the country.

Our farm is LEAF Marque accredited (Linking Environment And Farming), recognising that we work sympathetically with our environment and encourage links with our local community. Fruit crops include strawberries, raspberries, mulberries, Morello cherries, rhubarb, damson, Victoria plum, greengage, quince, and the curious medlar.
