Ingredients
- 36 Pork Cocktail sausages (buy the best quality you can afford)
-
6 tbsp Tiptree Damson Conserve
- 1.5 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
-
1.5 tsp Tiptree Wholegrain Mustard
- 2 tsp sesame seeds
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 200ºC / Fan 180ºC / Gas Mark 6
- If linked, snip the sausages into individual mini sausages.
- In a large bowl whisk together the Damson Conserve, soy sauce, sesame oil and wholegrain mustard.
- Add the cocktail sausages and toss together using your hands so that all of the sausages are coated in the sticky mixture. Stir in the sesame seeds.
- Tip the sausages into a large shallow roasting dish lined with a large piece of baking parchment (to make cleanup easier later). Scrape out any remaining sauce and pour on top of the sausages.
- Roast for 15 minutes, shake the pan to baste the sausages, then roast for a further 10-15 minutes until the sausages are cooked through and golden.
- Skewer onto cocktail sticks or serve in a bowl with cocktail
sticks and plenty of napkins on the side; they can be eaten hot or cold but are
best served warm.
