Spread a little happiness… that's nut free. Whether it’s silky smooth cream or real Belgian Dark Chocolate, we’ve left no stone unturned in our search for the very finest ingredients for our spreads.

They’re terrific on toast, wonderful on waffles, and delicious drizzled over ice cream. They are all made in our nut free factory in Tiptree, alongside the jam. If you’re feeling naughty, you might spoon them straight from the jar.

Our Banoffee Spread is the classic combination of banana and toffee. Perfect for making Banoffee pies.

Our History

Our History

The ‘Tiptree’ story begins around the early 1700s with Trewlands, the farm that was later to become the main site for jam-making in the Essex village of Tiptree. Today, there are some 11,000 inhabitants in what may well be the largest village in the country.

Today, we have a plentiful supply of a huge range of fruits, sometimes in many different varieties too. Yet it wasn’t always that way and thousands of years ago, the very first preserves were created in order to store that goodness for year-round use.

Our farm is LEAF Marque accredited (Linking Environment And Farming), recognising that we work sympathetically with our environment and encourage links with our local community. Fruit crops include strawberries, raspberries, mulberries, Morello cherries, rhubarb, damson, Victoria plum, greengage, quince, and the curious medlar.
